Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled
AEDD’s Skills Training Center provides meaningful work opportunities and social activities for individuals 18 years and older with developmental disabilities. These services are designed to increase the capacity for independence, social, vocational, emotional, and educational functioning. Social activities include arts and crafts, exercise, book club meetings, games, and relaxation time. The Center also provides pre-vocational and basic work skills training in a real work environment. Individuals are paid competitive wages dependent upon their specific ability to produce. When not working on an assigned task, an individual’s work habits are reviewed and daily life skills are taught in a classroom setting.
